  • The WMHS Jr Civitans encourage you to Rock Your Socks with us as we recognize World Down Syndrome Day, 3/21/24! Why rock your socks on 3/21? Down Syndrome (or Trisomy 21) means that there are 3 copies (instead of 2) of the 21st chromosome which is why we celebrate on 3/21. Wear brightly colored socks, long socks, printed socks, 1 sock...even 3 socks for 3 chromosomes! If you get a chance, stop by Mrs. Beach's room that day so we can take pictures of the awesome socks!

  • Our window for purchasing a yearbook is about to close. Be sure to go to Balfour.com, choose West Monroe High School and order your yearbook today. If you are an Eagle Scout, please send a picture of yourself in uniform (preferably from your pinning ceremony) to karen.wise@opsb.net. This year we are including a special page in the yearbook to honor those who have reached the rank of Eagle Scout. The yearbook staff is seeking some additional pictures to complete the yearbook.  Specifically, we are looking for more pictures from Volleyball, the homecoming dance, the Valentine's dance, Powerlifting, Interact, and Golf. If you have some pictures from any of these events that you would like to share, please send them to karen.wise@opsb.net or send them to the yearbook Instagram page. (wmhsrebelyearbook)
